Interior Awards.
New Zealand's most innovative interiors.

The Interior Awards is the only awards programme of its kind in New Zealand with the sole focus of celebrating New Zealand-designed projects that push the limits of interior and spatial design as well as the talented designers and teams that conceptualise and develop these ideas.

The awards recognise excellence in interior architecture and interior design across nine award categories – retail, hospitality, healthcare and wellness, civic, workplace (over 1000m2 and up to 1000m2), residential, residential kitchen, and emerging design professional.

This year, as we celebrate 10 years of the Interior Awards, we will be naming New Zealand’s Designer of the Decade, as voted by the industry and a special public vote. We’ll be looking for the interior/spatial designer who has had the greatest impact on interior design and the industry since 2010. To help us select the award winner, we’ve put together a ‘super jury’, made up of all past and current Interior Awards jurors and Supreme Award winners, who will provide us with their top three nominations. A special people’s vote will add a fourth name to the shortlist of three and judging will take place in mid-May. The winner will be announced at the Interior Awards evening on Thursday 24 June, 2021.
