  • Any New Zealand-based design professional may enter, including interior designers, interior decorators, interior architects, architects and all other design professionals.
  • Entries are encouraged from individuals, groups, partnerships and those working in larger practices.
  • Projects entered need to have been completed and delivered to client between September 2018 and June 2020.
  • Projects outside of New Zealand can be entered, although the principal design practice must be a New Zealand-based firm.
  • The following categories are eligible for the Supreme Award: Retail, Workplace, Civic, Residential, Residential Kitchen, Healthcare and Wellness and Hospitality.
  • Projects entered can be in collaboration with overseas design partners but must be entered by the New Zealand-based practice.
  • Projects must be credited to the design company that delivered the project to the client at the time of project completion.
  • Projects may be entered in more than one category, where appropriate (separate submission and entry fee apply).
  • Specific criteria for the Student category: To be eligible, entrants must be aged 28 or under and be currently studying full time in 3rd, 4th or 5th year or recently graduated (end of 2019) in the fields of interior design, spatial design or architecture. Entries are accepted from individuals and teams.
