Amanda Harkness

Interior editor
Architecture NZ

A former editor of Houses magazine, Amanda has written for Urbis and Interior and is also assistant editor of Architecture NZ. While studying towards her Bachelor of Arts at Victoria University, she took two architectural papers with the late Russell Walden and developed an enduring appreciation for the works of John Scott, Ian Athfield, Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright, amongst others.

Amanda started off working in magazines many years ago and, following forays into advertising, television and PR, as well as editing a cookbook, she has been working in design publishing for the past three years.
